DJ

Based in Sydney, Australia, dj hamo brings a smile, cheeky grin and fun times to wherever he plays. With a wide range of tastes and influences he has assorted flavas for one and all.

On any given day he could be playing fresh deep house grooves to the Green Park locals, or camp pop classics to middle aged gays and the odd hen’s party at Palms.

dj hamo could be out west playing Islander RnB at a Polynesian church function, or playing  hot club hits (while avoiding playing EDM to that stray 30 something bro) at Arq . Otherwise he might be nestled at Bear Bar, spinning hip hop and funk for twerking Cubs and Drag Bears.

You will always find someone raising their hands or getting down to one of his sets- often that someone includes him. Because if there’s things that  DJ Hamo wants to leave you with, it’s “a smile on your face,  shared joy in your heart and echoes of the occasion- celebrating life, love, music and dance”!

PRODUCER

This sense of fun and groove is carried onto dj hamo’s productions. There is also a sense of positivity and soul in many of his tracks. It’s move or be moved.

Because of his wide music tastes dj hamo has adopted a few different aliases to reflect the genre he’s working on at the time. dj hamo is his club and house guise. For more urban, hip hop and soul grooves Omah! Is your man. He’s also recorded LGBTIQ specific tracks under the Yassss! moniker. He’s working on a pseudonym to release goat-herd gospel slow jams.
